Summer 2006 Activity Programme

 

Young people from Dunscroft Hatfield and Stainforth took part in a five week activity programme which ran over the summer holidays. Activities such as football world cup extravaganza, dance, Trampolining, Water Sports at hatfield Wtaer Park and Rother Valley Country Park, Fun Splash, Ten Pin Bowling and many more were organised for children aged 5 years – 16 years to take part in. A total of 142 children accessed the programme with total attendances reached over 800. Overall the project was extremely successful with all places fully booked. The project cost around £8,500 to run therefore any volunteers or anyone who could help in away towards children’s activities please contact Laura on 01302 844844 your help would be much appreciated.

 

Many thanks goes to all children who took part, all volunteers and staff, Hatfield Visual arts college for the use of their facilities for the majority of the programme, Hatfield Town Council for their donation of £2000, Stainforth CARDO project, Dunscroft Unite and the CARDW project and everyone else who was involved.
