Phone Company Funds Allotment Project

Dunscroft Unite, working in partnership with Dunscroft Oval Allotment Association, were presented with a cheque on Wednesday the 7th March for just over £500 from the O2 Mobile Communications Giant. A representative brought the cheque on site whilst children were working hard spreading wood chippings over the plot. The allotment plot is a project aimed at healthy eating and environment education for children and it was the first time they had seen their new plot. The 02 grant money will be spent on the planting of a new hedge around the site and childrens plot for both environmental purposes and security measures.
