Dunscroft Unite require a
Community Development Worker
Salary – NJC Scale SO1 point 29 ( £23,175)
The role is to build the capacity of local community groups to enable active involvement in the regeneration process. The successful candidate will develop and initiate community activity and provide support to community groups and voluntary organisations.
You will need to be enthusiastic and committed and have the ability and flair to drive projects forward. You will be an excellent communicator and have knowledge of dealing with funding at community level.
This post is short term until Nov 30th 2007, however it may be extended if further funding is established. The post is subject to an Enhanced CRB check
