New Sequence Dancing Group
This new group has been set up by local people registering their interest in forming a group to meet weekly to participate in Sequence dancing. The group are hopeful of meeting at the Welfare Ground bar off Broadway - an announcement will be made on this website of confirmed dates / times. The cost will depend on the amount of people who attend but should be in the region of £2.00 each. The group wish to dance informally at the moment with some leadership coming from a local man who regularly holds sequence dancing sessions. Music will be provided by another local man who has the full equipment to do this along with a vast selection of music CD's. The Sequence Dancing group have now agreed date and times and a definite venue. The venue will be the St. Lawrence Road Community centre in Dunscroft. The groups first meeting will take place on Tuesday 31st January 2006, 8:00PM - 10:00PM. The group is initially aimed at beginner level and will cost £3.00 per couple. Refreshments will be provided and for those who want anything stronger are very welcome to bring some of their own. Posters will also be around and about the shops in Dunscroft with these details on.
