Dunscroft Unite has been succesful in securing £1480.00 from the South Yorkshire Community Foundation in order to progress our plans for the Allotment Plot. We have cleared the site by having a volunteer day on the 30th September, burnt weeds, cleared rubbish and rubble and prepared the site for renovation. We couldn't do this without our volunteers and we wish to thankyou all for your help so far in carrying our vision forward.We have also had carpets donated from both Manor Tyres at Stainforth and St. Leger Homes DMBC. We thank both these Organisations. We are also talking to Community First at DMBC in order to get some free wood chippings donated to lay on top of the carpets. We are hoping to have the site ready for Community Use by next summer if not before. If there are any other local or national Companies that would like to support / sponsor this project please ring Paul Elwis at Dunscroft Unite on 01302 844844.

The picture below shows the allotment plot cleared and relayed as from October 2006;

We would also like to thank Dunscroft Oval Allotment Association for their continued goodwill and help in supporting our project.
