Dunscroft Unite Oval Allotment Plot
Dunscroft Unite have now secured an allotment plot on the newly formed Oval Allotments Association. The vision is to provide an allotment plot for community use, initially inviting local schools to get involved in the project. Dunsville Primary School and Sheep Dip Lane Primary School have registered their interest in this. This project will aim to address health inequalities and reinforce the importance of a diet rich in fruit and vegetables by getting children to become actively involved in growing them. As you can see from the pictures above the plot is fair sized and has alot of potential however it needs some work in securing it as at present there is no perimetre fencing of any kind.
