Dunscroft Social Flying Club

Sport of racing pigeons against a clock. The birds are taken from their loft(s) and transported to a starting point, often hundreds of miles away. They have to return to their loft and a special clock times their arrival.

 

In shorter races pigeons failing to reach their destination average 10–20%; in longer races losses can be much higher.

The new vehicle will help the club develop and just as importantly provide a safer more comfortable journey for the pigeons going to their racing drop off points.
