Dunscroft Unite

York Road Recreation Ground

A Consultation event about issues dealing with green space on York Road in Dunscroft took place on Tuesday 1st November 2005. The event included keynote speakers from Dunscroft Unite, Doncaster DMBC and Hatfield Town Council.

The event included group workshops that gave people the chance to put their ideas / concerns to workshop facilitators. These were then feedback to the group as a whole, highlighting any other issues that came out of the workshops.

Alot of positives outcomes came from this event and all the information received from it will be available on this website at some point in the future. A steering group has being established and met on the 8th December (Thursday) to determine the outcome of all the information gathered. This took place at the St Lawrence Community Centre. At this meeting the following results from the Consultation event and community survey were presented;

Please note: On the survey some people put more than one alternative i.e. Sheltered accommodation and Housing Association. These have been included under each alternative, however these alternatives come under one heading (ither Housing or Leisure Development) so the total figure represents the final result.
