The BBC Bus

What is the BBC Bus?

The BBC bus is two cool things rolled into one. At the front, it's a mini radio studio - while at the back, it's a mobile internet cafe and IT teaching area.

When you step aboard, you'll be greeted not only by some friendly BBC faces, but by qualified IT tutors.

With their help, you can explore the world of computing, surf the net to your heart's content - or take an online "learning journey".

These include first aid, Skillswise, and How to be a Gardener, to name just three.

We have six internet-ready PCs on board, plus a laser printer, a scanner and a digital stills camera.

And we're also the place to come for information on BBC services - from Radio Sheffield and Look North to digital networks like BBC Three and 1Xtra.
