Dunscroft Unite

BBC BUS comes to Dunscroft

 

PRESS RELEASE

In conjunction with Dunscroft Unite, the areas local Community Partnership the BBC radio Sheffields Learner Bus attended Dunscroft on the 28th and 29th March 2006. The bus came fully equipped with computers, desktops, a fully equipped radio studio, onboard journalists and staff from Doncaster College and Dunscroft Unite and Allotment Association members Paul Siddons and Barry Miller. The Bus had a live internet link via a satellite dish located on the roof of the vehicle. Residents were offered the chance to be interviewed on radio, browse the internet at their leisure, find out about Dunscroft Unite its work and available educational courses and obtain free gardening advice courtesy of the newly formed Dunscroft Oval Allotments Association.
