Dunscroft Welfare Blues travelled to their local neighbours Armthorpe in what turned out to be a very entertaining match. It was a much improved Armthorpe side who took the lead against the run of play after only a few minutes. The Blues should have gone in at half time in the lead, but fine saves from the Rovers keeper and poor finishing made it 1-0 at half time. A fine save by the blues stand in keeper Nathan from a Rovers free kick seemed to spark the Blues into life and the had shot after shot but could not score. Finally, some skill on the wing and a good finish from Blues captain, and man of the match Callum Barber secured the draw for Dunscroft as the match ended 1-1.
