Neighbourhood Renewal Fund
Dunscroft has also been selected as one of two “hotspot” areas under the Neighbourhood Renewal Fund in Doncaster. Limited funds are available to Dunscroft from this fund.
Dunscroft Community Survey
The Community Survey was carried out in March and April of 2003, and a team of six staff were employed by Dunscroft Unite to carry out the work. Five of the staff were Dunscroft residents.
The survey was a way of discovering a picture of Dunscroft as a village in 2003. The census had not provided data at a small enough level and a Community Survey could also ask questions that were more relevant to the Community. There was a real sense of interest with the survey, as residents appeared to relish the chance to be asked their views and the overall response rate of 46% would appear to support this.
